Ruiz-Healy Art recently mounted its latest exhibition in San Antonio: Beauty in Art: 21st Century Interpretations.The gallery has been collaborating with the San Antonio Public Library Foundation in organizing this exhibit as a corollary to Botero: Beloved Artist of the Americas, San Antonio’s community-wide celebration of Fernando Botero’s artwork. Ruiz-Healy Art will be displaying art in the Central Library Art Gallery.
A percentage of the sales from this show will benefit the Operating Budget of the Library Foundation. The exhibition will be on display at the San Antonio Central Library Art Gallery through June 23.
Featured artists in this exhibit are: Amelia Biewald, Felipe Castañeda, Sergio Fasola, Gerardo Feldstein, Fitzia, Florencio Gelabert, Irma Guerrero, Erika Harrsch, Graciela Iturbide, Nora Kimelman, Juan Carlos Lasser, Nicolas Leiva, Leomar, Jesus Marcos, Cecilia Miguez, Ana Moriatis, Cecilia Paredes, Cristina Piceda, Ángel Rodríguez-Díaz, Ray Smith, and Shinzaburo Takeda, all of whom take a decidedly contemporary look at the theme of Beauty.
