“The last in Horna’s published ‘Fetiche’ series was ‘Paraísos Artificiales’ [Artificial Paradises], which appeared in a themed issue of 'S.nob', featuring images that unleash a world of transcendent narcotic-induced bliss. Again, using the female body as a site for visual experimentation, Horna here pushes the artistic envelope even further with photomontage, double exposure, and the distressing of negatives in a group of photographs that resemble Surrealist film stills and features the actress Luz del Amo.”
