Kati Horna, Remedios Varo, and Leonora Carrington shared a strong bond with one another–Varo and Carrington as talented painters, Horna as an experimental and sought-after photographer, and all three as rebellious creators. After meeting in Mexico, Horna documented their lives as European ex-patriots and their blossoming artistic careers.
