GEORGE MEAD MOORE was born on June 26, 1954 in Morristown, New Jersey, and received his BA degree in Social Anthropology at Harvard University in 1976. He has lived and worked in Oaxaca, Mexico since 1997. His drawings and artist books are in the collections of Museum of Modern Art, Whitney Museum of American Art, Philadelphia Museum of Art, and the Yale University Art Gallery.
