The images depict the trains from across the street of my parents house, La Calle Seguin is an image that I drew often as a child. I would often sit on the porch to teach myself how to draw. Sometimes I sat alone other times while my father worked on his truck.
Southern Pacific is an image often enjoyed as I walked over the bridge to see a birds eye view of the train yard and beyond.
The enameled craft paper was gessoed, and sprayed painted in enamel while I was spray painting eggs. It left ghost images of eggs on the paper, afterwards the paper was cut to create the prints for the Vail Visiting Artists Program. These EV prints are in the collection of the visiting artists program.
The residency at the university offered me the time to print my linocuts and create cascarones to assist families affected by HIV/AIDS.
