In Horna’s superimposed version of "Muñeca," the doll’s limbs are repositioned to strengthen the image of her grasping her throat. Before, the face was turned away and down; now it looks more directly forward. Behind the doll’s head, hair, and limbs is a stone wall with a closed door, hinting at feelings of entrapment and claustrophobia.
