The Isthmus of Tehuantepec is renowned for its Tehuana dresses, a traditional attire featuring beautiful floral embroidery. Memoria Negra highlights the ornate details of Tehuana women’s traditional embroidery techniques through one of Bernardo’s main mediums of printmakinng.
