Inspired by a 1920s Braemore designer's fabric, "Flowers and Baskets," Paredes felt inspired to create her newest work titled "Cupcake Rose" and "Cupcake Hand." The pattern with the most delightful flower baskets suggested a playful intervention. The character is immersed, almost invisible; one can only distinguish the legs and arms intertwined with the bouquets that suggest cupcakes or candy.
