The chocolate tray appears “hung” face-on, which isn’t how one usually sees such objects when they lay casually open on a table. Often working with the idea of the disposable Fouquets, Paris, a treat from a posh Parisian restaurant, seems to be on the verge of being tossed. Ramirez illustrates that pleasure, no matter how luxurious, has a cost of being consumed but not before you enjoy it.Exhibitions
