    The Ursel Castle, Belgium, initially commissioned the work. Paredes selected the vintage hand-painted wallpaper to produce a fabric to be used by the artist to create the photo performance. The work was done in the Castle's library, and Paredes decided to position herself with her face hidden in her arms as she rests, conveying a person deep in their thoughts and studies.
