Tito West was born in 1985, a seventh-generation Texan. Raised across the brush country and the coastal islands south of San Antonio, he left all other pursuits behind once finding that photography was his main interest. Almost always in black and white, West portrays a love for the world and the people that inhabit it. In Mason Clements, West shares the mundane aspects of life to showcase the culture of his home. With his hands on his hips, the subject invites us, through his languid pose, to participate in the peace his relaxed manner inspires.
