The magnetizing blue tonality used by the artist in "Agua Viva" invites the viewer to submerge themselves in a deeper analysis of the painting. With an organic flow, the viewer's eye travels around the composition, following the patterns traced by what appear to be jellyfish tentacles and oral arms. For this piece, the artist worked with layers of black, white, and blue, as well as a Dremel tool to give dimension and texture to the canvas.
