Printed in rainbow colors, the poster features a compilation of photographs from Romero and his fellow Los Four members—Carlos Almaraz, Roberto "Beto" de la Rocha, and Gilbert "Magu" Luján. These images include photographs of family, friends, artworks, and various ephemera. The piece reads like a serape blanket embedded with icons of Chicanidad, challenging both the definition of Chicano art and fine art more broadly, a critique that remains relevant today. When displayed at LACMA fifty-two years ago, the work powerfully asserted a claim to institutional space for Chicanas and Chicanos everywhere for the first time. The poster’s cover is emblazoned with the now-iconic bilingual "Los Four" logo created by Magu and Romero.
