The exhibition highlights the subtle external influences on the artist, who states, “If I’m working on a painting, the subject matter will usually dictate which artists I will reference or loosely borrow from, with each painting ending up stylistically different from the next.” Based on the painter Francisco Goya, "Untitled (for Goya)" emphasizes themes of isolation, bewilderment, helplessness, and vulnerability through a lone dog, while remaining true to his exploration of inner dialogue and self through a bold and evocative color palette.
