This volume celebrates the 10th anniversary of Artpace. In 1995, when Artpace opened as a visual arts organization devoted to producing projects with artists from around the world, it was by no means a foregone conclusion that the concept was either viable or sustainable. Linda Pace was both a visonary artist, a collector, and a buisnesswoman who so steadfastly beleived in the importance of supporting artists and their work. And artists, as it turns out, were glad to come. So too were audiences.
