Mapas abiertos: Fotografía Latinoamericana

Catalogue published in the occasion of the exhibition by the same name. The exhibit presents numerous photographs of artists who explore new directions in the formal and the conceptual, moving away from the topics associated with Latin American creation and exotic stereotypes. The works are grouped into three themes: "Rituals of identity" reviews certain hierarchical structures on the representation of the body; "Alternative histories" raises a questioning of the veracity of the historical account; and "Scenarios" proposes new correlations between the domestic and the public, between the individual and the collective, between the interior and the exterior.
