The artist newest edition is a special silkscreen, ten runs, done at Coronado Studio, Austin. It has iconic images that Consuelo favors like the Virgen de Guadalupe, Emiliano Zapata, the Caution highway sign, and a black and white photo (left bottom corner) of her as a child with her mom and produce crates. The family used to make a living going from crop to crop from Sacramento to Calexico.
Emiliano Zapata is part of the Heroes that the artist honors. "Their life stories shine Light when there is Darkness. Willing to die for their beliefs, their strength and courage were admirable and worthy to remember and honor. All of my Heroes had tragic deaths, but glorious moments of their lives will be remembered for a long time."
