Stacked chairs form the focus of "Together," where Shipton sees a sense of community. The discarded furniture is reminiscent of the people who once used it, the arms and legs of each object interlacing in a tender embrace. The many chairs, despite being left to the stark Texas sun, evoke memories of past gatherings while still holding the latent potential to bring people together again.
