Iturbide’s work, Los Ángeles, highlights a Cesar Chavez mural, featuring the flag raised by Chávez’s followers, composed with a stylized eagle with its wings spread, which became a powerful emblem of resistance. The Eagle Emblem carried by Chávez’s followers became a lasting symbol of resistance—later appearing on the cover of Movimiento Music by Dr. Loco’s Rockin’ Jalapeño Band, whose songs like “Migra” and “Picket Sign” featured Chávez’s voice from the grape strikes in California.
