Alejandro Diaz, founder of San Antonio art space Sala Diaz, was born in the Alamo City and now resides in New York. While much of his well-known work is graphic, bold and playful, celebrating the culture and humor of the U.S.-Mexico border region, in recent years he’s found his way back to painting.
