From February 12 to May 29, 2022, the Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain presents Heliotropo 37, the first large exhibition in France devoted to Mexican photographer Graciela Iturbide. The book accompanying this “portrait” exhibition offers an exploration of Graciela Iturbide’s work and personal universe from the 1970s to the present day. Through more than 250 photographs, it presents Graciela Iturbide’s most iconic works, an important selection of unreleased photographs, and a series of color photographs specially commissioned by the Fondation Cartier, revealing a sensitive, poetic, and humanistic body of work.
